Shoreham Air Show crash widow in court for alleged drug dealing after ‘cops found £3,165 worth of speed during raid’

THE widow of one of the Shoreham air show disaster victims appeared in court yesterday accused of drug dealing.
Giovanna Chirico was caught with 280g of amphetamine – also known as speed – at her home, its said.
The drug – with a street value of £3,165 – was found during a police raid after a tip-off in September last year, the court heard.
JPs were told officers found it in an orange bag on top of her freezer in her kitchen.
She was charged with possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply last month after a four month investigation.
Mum-of-four Chirico – set to wed Mark Trussler killed in the tragedy – didn’t enter a plea before Worthing JPs yesterday.
If convicted she could face up to three years in prison.
She was bailed to appear at Lewes crown court on March 7.
Chirico, of Worthing and tragic Mark had been together for 12 years.

The Air Accident Investigations Branch is set to release its report into the tragedy within weeks.
