COMIC David Walliams’ 11-year-old son reckons the funnyman is a dead ringer for North Korea’s Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un.

The former Little Britain star, 52, says Alfred believes he is the spitting image of the 5ft 7in tubby despot.

Walliams, now a kids’ book author, said the subject arose during a joint reading session.

He said: “Sometimes Alf and I like to read our own books as we cuddle up together.

“He might express interest in what I am reading, which can lead to some thought-provoking conversations too — ‘Daddy, who is Kim Jong-un?

"And why do you look like him?’.”

Mr Stink author Walliams said that Alfred grew to enjoy books after he read to him.

The pair then took turns to read out pages to one another.

He told The Daily Telegraph his love of books took longer to develop as his parents let him have a portable black-and-white TV in his bedroom.

He added: “I was once a reluctant reader.

"It wasn’t that I hated books, it was that I loved watching television.

“I spent many a happy afternoon up there on my own, watching the wrestling — Big Daddy versus Giant Haystacks.”
