TRIBUTES have poured in for a man who was stabbed to death after his attackers were reportedly waiting outside a Glasgow bookies.
Brian Gough, 27, was knifed on Saracen Street on Saturday evening.
Emergency services raced to the scene after the alarm was raised at around 5pm.
He was rushed to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
But he tragically passed away yesterday evening as a result of his injuries.
Cops tonight confirmed they were treating the death as a murder following a post-mortem.
Devastated friends and family have paid tribute to Brian with many leaving gifts and bouquets of flowers at the scene.
Locals told the Scottish Sun they were shocked by the terrifying incident and described Brian as a "popular", "nice big guy".

One person said: "He’d been in Ladbrokes and they were waiting for him outside.
“They stabbed him more than once. Some folk saw him lying there and didn’t even call 999.

A white Rangers jersey was left at the scene of the horrific crime with a touching tribute written on the front.
The emotional message read: "To Big Brian, We are all going to miss you brother!
"Until we meet again, love from all the lads at Eco Deck".
A note left on a bouquet of flowers at the scene was dedicated to "Molly's Golden Boy Brian".
It read: "Our heartfelt sorrow for you and your family. Much love to all of you. From Paul Mac's family".

Another note read: "A life too short, a grieving too long.
"For a life lost for a young man of Possilpark. Never forgotten".
Others have taken to social media to pay their respects to Brian and his heartbroken family.
One person wrote on Facebook: "RIP Brian. Such a cruel world, so young and his full life ahead of him.
"Thinking of all the Gough family at this sad time".
While someone else said: "Not something I would've thought I would be saying but RIP Brian mate.
'GET IN TOUCH'
POLICE have urged anyone with any information on the attack to get in touch with officers.
The force explained that there will be additional officers in the area over the coming days and anyone with information or concerns can approach them.
Anyone with information is also asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2986 of 18 May 2024.

Detective Chief Inspector Graham McCreadie: “Our thoughts are with Brian’s family and friends at this very difficult time, and we will continue to support them as our enquiries continue.
“Following a post mortem examination, Brian’s death is being treated as murder and extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“We are still keen to trace two men. The first man is described as white, in his 30s, wearing a light blue top and black shorts. The second man is white, also in his 30s and wearing a white top with black shorts and back trainers.
“I would again ask anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything they believe may assist our enquiries to get in touch. If you have dash cam footage, private CCTV or doorbell footage, please let us now. You may have captured something that can assist us.
“As our extensive enquiries continue, I want to reassure people there will be an increased police presence in the local area and anyone with any concerns can speak to these officers.”
Cops revealed yesterday they have established that two men were involved in attacking the man.
The first suspect is described as white, in his 30s, wearing a light blue top and black shorts.
The second suspect is white, also in his 30s and wearing a white top with black shorts and back trainers.

Police added that they are gathering and reviewing CCTV footage from in and around the area for additional information on the suspects.
Blue police tents were spotted at the scene this afternoon.
Detective Inspector Lesley-Ann McGee said: “It was a warm, sunny day and there were lots of people out enjoying the weather in Saracen.
"I am asking them to get in touch with us with any information that could assist us in establishing the motive for this attack.
