Vile sex fiend who raped teen girl vanishes as disappearance sparks fears he’s fled to Europe
A SEX fiend who raped a teenage girl has vanished while on bail — amid fears he’s fled to Europe.
Artur Drazkowski, 38, was due to be sentenced after being convicted of eight vile charges.
But an arrest warrant was issued after he failed to appear at the High Court in Glasgow on Wednesday.
Cops hunting Drazkowski, of nearby Clydebank, are believed to be checking the possibility he is now abroad after going on the run.
A trial at the same court heard how the beast plied his young victim with booze, cannabis and a mystery substance.
He was violent and on one occasion raped the terrified teenager after locking her in a motor.
Drazkowski was snared after the girl bravely gave seven hours of harrowing testimony, which was played during the trial.
Damning texts also helped to convict the predator.
Jurors heard how in one message to another person he admitted “pangs of conscience because of what I did to her”.
In a further text, he wrote: “I am evil.”

The girl eventually spoke to cops after confronting Drazkowski to brand him a “rapist and paedophile”.
He was found guilty of five rapes and three other offences committed between December 2017 and February 2019, mainly in Clydebank.
But Drazkowski was not in court last month to hear the jury’s verdicts.
Prosecutor Adrian Stalker told Judge Thomas Welsh KC: “He is in hospital in Glasgow or Stirling.
"Police saw him in his vehicle this morning in a bad way.”
Drazkowski’s lawyer Sean Templeton then said he did not know exactly where his client was because cops would not share details.
Police confirmed an arrest warrant had been issued and inquiries are ongoing.
