Two married NHS doctors at the centre of a hospital staff ‘sex ring’ scandal to carry on working at top hospital
The pair, each on about £90,000 a year, are said to have had a formal warning after 'romping with secretaries'
TWO NHS consultants at the centre of a hospital staff “sex ring” allegation are still licensed to continue working.
The married doctors are said to have romped with secretaries in clinic rooms at a top hospital.
And they have been accused of exchanging hundreds of emails using codes such as “going for a cappuccino” and “spreading marmite” to arrange secret sex sessions near wards with patients.
The hospital refused to sack the consultants after a disciplinary hearing lasting just 20 minutes, .
And GMC records checked yesterday listed them as still “licensed to practise with no restrictions”.
