Teacher at Princess Kate’s old school found not guilty of sexual activity with pupil
A TEACHER at Princess Kate’s old school was cleared of a string of sexual allegations made by a former pupil.
Maths tutor Matthew Loxton, 35, was accused of slapping the boy's bum before sexually touching him in his dorm.
But on Thursday a jury took just 90 minutes to clear Loxton of all charges against him.
Loxton was living in private accommodation in the grounds of prestigious Marlborough College in Wiltshire when the allegations occurred.
The court heard that the former pupil, who cannot be named, admitted lying about another incident of sexual behaviour with an older man.
Loxton denied four charges of sexual activity with a child by a person in a position of trust, and one charge of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity by a person in a position of trust.
