Driver stunned after parking next to car with identical make, colour and NUMBER PLATE

A BAFFLED driver thought she was seeing double when she pulled up next to the same colour and model of car - and an identical number plate - at a garden centre.

The woman decided to call police over the mind-boggling scene at Melbicks Garden Centre, Coleshill, Warks. after spotting the identical white Ford Kuga just a few feet from her vehicle.

And officers quickly realised that the other Kuga was an imposter - and had actually been stolen from Birmingham last year.

Its true identity had been masked by the fake plate which when checked came back to the genuine Ford Kuga of the same colour.
