UK weather: Met Office issues another yellow warning for thunderstorms and rain after hundreds of flights cancelled
THE Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning as parts of the UK are set to be hit with thunderstorms and rain.
A yellow thunderstorm warning has been issued for western England and most of Wales between 2pm today and midnight tonight.
That areas includes Gloucester, Birmingham, Sheffield, Manchester and then west to Llangollen and south to Brecon.
Thundery downpours will bring 10-20mm of rain in an hour and 30mm of rain over a few hours.
The Met Office is warning that thundery downpours may lead to some flooding in a few places.
It comes as another yellow rain warning will be in force for northern from 10pm tonight until midnight tomorrow.

A whopping 90mm of rain could drench the Grampians and the north west Highlands.
There is a slight chance of power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses, which could also be damaged by floods.
Where flooding occurs, there is a slight chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services.
Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
The bad weather comes after more than 125 planes have reportedly been grounded by the tail winds from Hurricane Beryl.
Around 10,000 British Airways and EasyJet passengers have reportedly been affected by the delays.
The hurricane has carved a path of destruction through Mexico, the Caribbean and Texas, killing at least 11 people.

Similar on Friday, turning somewhat drier from the west over the weekend.
