A MUM has been left with brain damage after a suspected spiking at a bottomless brunch.
Simone White, 43, is struggling to walk and talk after the afternoon meal with pals.
The self-employed cleaner said she sensed something was wrong and went outside for “some air”.
But Simone collapsed on the street.
She said: “I had no control of my body at all.
“I was having episodes in and out of consciousness.

“I was gurning, throwing things, going rigid and scratching and clawing.
“They believe I was having seizures.”
Passers-by were able to phone Simone’s parents who took her to A&E.
After being kept in overnight, she was discharged but is still stuttering and struggling to walk.

Following a CT scan last Wednesday, doctors believe Simone suffered a functional neurological disorder — which affects how the brain sends information.
She is waiting on an MRI result.
Simone, of Bradley Stoke, South Gloucs, said: “This is life-altering.
“There are really long term damaging effects to spiking.”
She had been with pals in cocktail bar Tonight Josephine in Bristol from 4pm to 5pm on Saturday, May 4.
The venue said last night: “Nothing is more important than our customers’ safety.
“We have comprehensive CCTV which we have shared with police.
“On review, at no point does anyone outside the booking touch any vessel she drinks from.”
Avon and Somerset Police said: “We are investigating a suspected spiking incident where a woman required hospital treatment.”
