A MASSIVE full English breakfast served on a two-foot long silver platter is proving impossible to conquer for even the hungriest of brekkie lovers.

The 4,000 calorie gut-buster is being served at Treats Cafe in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, where diners can take on the challenge for £13.95 but can eat free if they manage to polish it off in under an hour.

The mega meal contains 43 portions of 12 different fry up favourites and accounts for twice the recommended daily allowance for a woman and 1,500 more than the average man should eat.

Just ONE person has been able to scoff their way to success in the four months it has been on offer.

Cafe manager Ricky Bodalia, 28, said they added the breakfast challenge to their menu because they thought it would be “good fun”.

He said: “When someone does the challenge the whole cafe turns to watch them.”

The sole man to conquer the challenge to date is James 'Terminator' Cox who took 36 minutes and 21 seconds to eat his way through the platter in November.

Despite stereotypes Ricky says female challengers generally do better than men.

He said: “The girls seem to have more willpower. 60 per cent of them have done better than the boys.”
