A TEACHER accused of having sex with two schoolboys - including one who got her pregnant - admitted she liked attention from the teens.
Rebecca Joynes, 30, allegedly engaged in sexual relationships with two students - Boy A and Boy B.
She was seen arriving at Manchester Crown Court on Monday morning clutching a blue notepad and pen with her father.
The 30-year-old was also spotted with something pink up her sleeve - which she said in court was a baby's bonnet.
The court heard how the baby girl was "taken off” her and is now cared for by her teenage father.
Joynes also told the court: “I let my guard down. I caved in to the attention he was giving me. I was lonely and liked the attention.”

She also denied having a “powerful sexual attraction to boys aged 15”.
The former teacher allegedly started a relationship with the boy - known as Boy B - while he was still at school when she became “lonely” after the breakdown of a nine-year-old relationship.
The defendant gave evidence and admitted to the court she started messaging Boy B after she had already been arrested and suspended in October 2021 - over allegations in relation to a first boy, Boy A.
Joynes told the jury that Boy B added her on WhatsApp and she’d believed he “genuinely cared” about her welfare.

She denied their relationship had quickly turned sexual after she allegedly sent him a photo of her bum and he’d messaged her saying: “Get your t*** out."
It’s alleged they first had sex after the boy had gone to her flat and watched a Manchester United v Middlesbrough FA cup tie in February 2022.
Joynes denied this and said she’d initially seen the boy as her “best friend”, although he’d later joked about them meeting up, sending her a message saying he’d “left school” alongside a “winky face” emoji.
She admitted they did eventually have sex after she was dismissed from her job in July 2022 it’s claimed they had sex around 30 times.
The jury heard she became pregnant by Boy B - with her breaking the news to him during a “date night at her flat.
She presented him with a babygrow - and she went on to have a baby girl in January.
But Joynes became emotional during court proceedings on Monday as she revealed the child was “taken off me 24 hours after she was born” and she was only allowed limited contact.
'Groomed' teen
The infant is now being looked after by Boy B, the court heard.
Asked by prosecutor Joe Allman if she was trying to get sympathy from the jury by holding the baby's bonnet she replied: “No. Definitely not.
"I sleep with this every night.”
Joynes is also accused of two counts of sexual activity with Boy A, who was 15 when she first "groomed" him, the court heard on Thursday.
The teacher allegedly bought him a £345 Gucci belt before taking him home in her white Audi where they had sex twice.
Boy A claimed Joynes had laughed and told him to "shut up" when he mentioned his age to her, the court heard.
The pair then allegedly went back to her flat and had unprotected sex.
'Shouldn't have done it'
Joynes claimed the boy’s behaviour had become increasingly “flirtatious” towards her but admitted she should never have allowed him to start messaging her.
“I was really stupid and shouldn’t have done it,” she told the court.
She said had agreed to let him stay over at her apartment after the shopping trip but insisted he sleep on the couch.
Joynes said the schoolboy had told her: “I think you know what I want to do now.”
But she said she’d made it clear they wouldn’t have sex.
“I tried to explain I had been in a nine-year-relationship and had really struggled with the break-up and I was not the type of person who goes around sleeping with people,’ she told the court.
She added that she shouldn’t have contacted Boy A and should “definitely” not have taken him to her apartment, but she had been “lonely” and had “responded” to the attention her gave her.
A police investigation was launched in October 2021 and Joynes was subsequently arrested and bailed on the condition she did not contact any child under 18.
