Troubled MP is to marry at a chapel featured on steamy show
TROUBLED MP Simon Danczuk is set to marry his new girlfriend in a chapel made famous by a steamy BBC drama.
Danczuk, 50, is planning for a wedding in the House of Commons crypt which featured in a sex scene on BBC One’s Apple Tree Yard.
The Labour politician - suspended from his party over sex texts he sent to a 17-year-old girl - started dating blonde Charlene Meade, 31, in November.
He is smitten with the mum-of-two - a care worker from Bradford - and preparing for a Christmas wedding.
The pair have even been spotted hand-in-hand at a bash in Manchester during their whirlwind romance.
Danczuk is currently waiting for his divorce from ex-wife and “selfie queen” Karen.
But he has set his sights on marrying in the St Mary Undercroft chapel - also known as the House of Commons crypt.
Members of both Houses of Parliament are allowed to have weddings and christenings in the ornate Church of England chapel which dates back to the 13th century.
