Prince Harry slams Donald Trump’s election as ‘terrifying’ and condemns his policies to friends, says royal source
Donald Trump is due to visit UK this summer with his wife Melania
PRINCE Harry is said to have branded US President Donald Trump a “moron”.
He also reportedly told friends it was terrifying he had been elected, and condemned his policies.
American magazine US Weekly said: “Harry thinks the president is a serious threat to human rights.”
It claimed a second royal source said the prince had often been vocal about Mr Trump since he launched his campaign for the White House.
It also alleged Prince William had privately expressed concerns.
Mr Trump and wife Melania are due to visit the UK this summer for a full state visit as guests of the Queen.
This could put Harry in a difficult position if the reports are true.
It is not known which royals will attend the three-day visit but there is likely to be pressure on Harry, 32, William, 34, and Kate, 35, to make appearances.
The reports were last night denied by Kensington Palace.
It added: “We never comment on reports from unnamed sources of purported private conversations involving members of the Royal Family.”
A royal aide said: “This just isn’t the kind of language Prince Harry would use. He’s always very careful.”
Harry’s actress girlfriend Meghan Markle, 35, threatened to leave the US last year if Trump was voted in.
And last year Prince Andrew made clear his hostility to Mr Trump when speaking at a Windsor Castle dinner.
US comic Sarah Silverman, 46, has caused fury after calling for a military coup to overthrow the “mad king” Donald Trump.
AMELIA ROYAL BLAST NO 2
ROYAL beauty Lady Amelia Windsor has also blasted Donald Trump — over his migrant ban.
Lady Amelia, 21, posted three raised fists online with the slogan, “Say it loud, say it clear, refugees are welcome here.” She also wrote: “Let evil in the world be conquered by good.” The student, granddaughter of the Queen’s cousin, the Duke of Kent, later deleted the Instagram account. Two weeks ago she told a magazine she wanted to make it publicly accessible.
