Elon Musk advising US president Donald Trump on how to make humans a ‘multiplanetary species’

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has issued a stark warning saying artificial intelligence could be the end of the human race

ELON Musk wants to move humanity onto another world and make us a "multi-planetary species".

Catapulting Earthlings onto other planets is one of the best solutions to the Western jobs crisis, the Tesla mogul will tell US President Donald Trump as part of his White House advisory duties.

There were calls for Musk to stand down from his place on Trump's advisory board after the president banned Muslims from certain countries entering America.

But hours after Uber CEO Travis Kalanick stood down in protest on Friday, Musk took to Twitter to confirm he would remain on the committee.

He wrote: "In December, I agreed to join the Presidential Advisory Forum to provide feedback on issues that I think are important for our country and the world.

"In tomorrow’s meeting, I and others will express our objections to the recent executive order on immigration and offer suggestions for changes to the policy.

"Advisory councils simply provide advice and attending does not mean that I agree with actions by the Administration.

"My goals are to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy and to help make humanity a multi-planet civilisation, a consequence of which will be the creation of hundreds and thousands of jobs and a more inspiring future for all."

The SpaceX reckons there will be humans on Mars by 2022.

He thinks one million people will be living in Martian glass domes within 40 years.

Not content with space travel, the tech entrepreneur plans to install computers directly into human brains, he recently hinted.

The Tesla mogul could reveal details of his mind-reading technology research as soon as March.
