David Cameron poses with Arnold Schwarzenegger in Snapchat video – and ex-PM vows uses star’s ‘I’ll Be Back’ catchphrase to hint at political return
The former Governor of California shared the ten-second clip of himself with the former Prime Minister earlier today
DAVID Cameron once said "too many tweets make a t**t".
But now the former Prime Minister appears to have found a fondness for another social media tool - after he was spotted on Snapchat with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Mr Cameron appeared alongside the film star in a ten-second video, which emerged earlier today.
The pair, both sporting similar windswept looks and dressed down in shirts with no ties, took to social media to share an amusing moment.
The Terminator star captioned it "with my great friend David Cameron!"
He said: "I'm here with my good friend David Cameron, from England, ex prime minister!"
Mr Cameron replied: "I'm here with the Governor, he did a good job... and I'll be back!"
Could the former Tory PM be hinting at a political comeback?
Schwarzenegger first used his iconic "I'll be back" catchphrase in the 1984 sci-fi thriller The Terminator. Since then, he's repeated the line in several other films too.
"Oh wow," he responded at the end of the footage.
The former Governor of California has been openly attacked again by Donald Trump today, when he tweeted that he was doing a terrible job as the host of The Celebrity Apprentice.
“Yes, Arnold Schwarzenegger did a really bad job as Governor of California and even worse on the Apprentice...but at least he tried hard!” Trump wrote on Friday morning.
After the US President blasted him in a press conference yesterday, Schwarzenegger hit back with a video where he suggested that the two men switch jobs and the President return to TV "because you're such an expert in ratings".
And the actor hit out at his controversial 'Muslim ban', saying it made the US "look stupid".
He said the White House was “ill-prepared to put this kind of” directive out there.
The pair have long been political rivals, with the Hollywood star endorsing his opponent, Ohio Governor John Kasich, to be President.
