Drunk uncle attacks guests including bride niece at her wedding rehearsal
A DRUNKEN uncle turned into the guest from hell at a wedding rehearsal, attacking three people — including the bride.
Trucker David Cullen, 51, sank at least eight pints of cider at the bash.
A court heard the Scotsman then had a “wee fallout” with bridegroom Daniel Jones, before threatening to kill him and shouting: “I’ll carve your face up and chew it off.”
He then threatened to break his sister’s jaw, ripped off his shirt and challenged other guests to fight him, saying: “I’m a hard man.”
Cullen was invited to the wedding of his niece, Alison Jones, last September.
Welshpool magistrates’ court in Wrexham heard he became “absolutely raging” drunk during a rehearsal the night before and broke his leg.

His sister Jacqueline Waugh said he looked like he wanted to kill the groom.
Cullen, of Perth, admitted assaulting Mrs Jones, Mrs Waugh and her husband at Glyngynwydd Wedding Barn, near Llangurig, Powys.
Rob Hanratty, defending, said the incident was “entirely out of character” for Cullen.
Mr Hanratty added: “It was an unpleasant incident but it was mainly injury to feelings, he was the only one who suffered an actual physical injury. Emotions were running high.”
