FORMER president Barack Obama has been spotted relaxing with Brit mogul Sir Richard Branson on his luxury Necker Island.

Obama, 55, who had encouraged protesters to take to the streets to demonstrate against Donald Trump this week, stuck his baseball cap on backwards as they had a drink on his paradise isle.

The carefree former leader of the free world was seen enjoying lunch with the Virgin businessman while his wife Michelle, 53, chatted to Branson’s daughter Holly, 35.

They travelled last week from Palm Springs in California, where they had spent the first part of their holiday as a guest of the Spanish ambassador.

Obama was snapped wearing dark shades and a flipped-back baseball cap.

A passer-by wishing him and Michelle a happy holiday was greeted with a cheerful “thank you” from the former commander-in-chief.

But while they have been seen enjoying the kickbacks of a break from Washington DC, Barack Obama has lived up to his word after vowing to be vocal if he saw “core issues” under threat from the Trump presidency.

He also gave support to protesters taking to the streets and disrupting airports across the US and beyond.
