She allegedly told police she wanted to invite a new female friend over for a threesome, which she and her boyfriend “have always talked about doing”.

But Gillard was then so dismayed with his refusal, she grabbed some scissors and allegedly stabbed him.

Local paper, the reports the Lake Havasu City woman was arrested last month after the violent row.

The arrest reports says Gillard, 42, faces felony charges for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct with a weapon per domestic violence.

Local investigators told the newspaper an argument started when Gillard's boyfriend said he didn't want to have a threesome because he felt "unwell".

The disagreement allegedly turned physical and police said the boyfriend reportedly grabbed Gillard's wrists, swung her around and told her he had a gun.

It was then that Gillard told police she decided to stab him in the arm with a pair of scissors that he had handed her, say police.

Investigators alleged the man then locked her out of the house and told her to leave.

However, she went in by the backdoor and the physical altercation continued until he put her outside once more.

Gillard called police from a neighbour’s house to report the man had been drinking, had beaten her up and threatened to shoot her, police said.

Gillard later told police she had been drinking a Budweiser Strawberryrita and two shots of peppermint schnapps prior to the incident, a police report stated.

The man suffered minor injuries to his arm and abdomen, a police report stated, and was not charged in the incident, police spokesman Sgt. Tom Gray told the paper.

Meanwhile, Gillard was taken in to custody at the Mohave County Jail.
