Distraught family of missing RAF gunner Corrie McKeague forced to deny he was killed by his own brother

His family have denied the "surreal" claims after sick trolls claimed online that Corrie's brother Darroch had something to do with his disappearance

THE family of missing RAF gunner Corrie McKeague have been forced to deny that he was killed by his younger brother.

Issuing a statement via the Find Corrie Facebook page today, the family denounced the "surreal" claims made by sick trolls online.

in Bury St Edmunds on September 24 last year and has not been seen since - leading to wild conspiracy theories on his disappearance appearing online.

Trolls have falsely claimed that Corrie, 23, was killed by his younger brother Darroch, 21, claiming online that he drove 404 miles from his home in Dunfermline, Fife, to Bury St Edmonds, Suffolk, to kill his sibling.

Corrie’s uncle, Tony Wringe, a former serviceman, discredited the claims, describing the fact he had to do so as "somewhat surreal".

He wrote on the Find Corrie Facebook page: “In Nicola’s (Corrie's mum) own words. For those that believe Darroch drove to Bury to kill or hide his brother: Darroch was in Dunfermline in his bed.
