First pictures of ‘beautiful’ mum, 46, found ‘stabbed to death’ at Manchester house as man is quizzed over murder
Tributes have flooded in for Chrissy Kendall after her body was discovered
THIS is the first picture of a tragic mum found "stabbed to death" at a home in Manchester.
Chrissy Kendall, 46, was discovered on Saturday after police were called to the property in Moston at around 1pm.
A murder probe was launched and a 46-year-old man is currently being quizzed by detectives after being arrested in a Tesco car park.
Devastated family and friends have taken to social media to pay tribute to the mum.
One wrote: “Chrissy was a lovely lady I knew her through nursery. I thought she was great and very supportive, inspiring, she often gave me advice and I has so much respect for her! Rip Chrissy and my love to your family and friends.”
Another tribute read: “A truly beautiful mum, sister, grandma, Aunty and friend.”
While one grieving pal said: "An amazing person who has touched the hearts of so many people. Not just her friends but society in general.
";You were always the life and soul, life, Benidorm and the world won’t be the same without you. We all loved you dearly and you will be missed.”
Police were called to the home in Greater Manchester over the weekend and cordoned off the area after discovering Chrissy's body.
Forensic officers have been combing the scene for clues.
Det Supt Phil Reade from GMP’s Serious Crime Division said: “My thoughts are with Chrissy’s family at this devastating time. Specially trained officers are with them and I have a full investigative team working on getting them the answers to the questions they are quite rightly asking.
“We have arrested a 46-year-old man in connection with the murder however our enquiries will continue so we are still appealing for the public to get in touch if they have any information about what happened.”
