Police officer ‘seriously injured’ after suspected drink driver ploughs into her car outside Kent pub
The officer was rushed to hospital whilst the 26-year-old driver has been arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence

A FEMALE police officer was seriously injured after a suspected drink-driver hit her car head-on.
The police car collided with a silver BMW 523i outside a pub yesterday afternoon.
The 26-year-old man was arrested under suspicion of drink-driving following the crash, whilst the officer was rushed to hospital.
Although her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, it's believed she remained in hospital overnight.
The road outside the Pelham Arms in Gravesend, Kent, was closed for several hours after the 4pm incident.

The driver, from Northfleet, escaped the crash with just minor injuries and is now being held in custody.
Police are appealing for any witnesses with any information about the collision to call 01622 798538 quoting reference 29-0746.
