Man fighting for his life after being hit by van near Heathrow Airport

A MAN is fighting for his life after being hit by a van near Heathrow Airport.

The 46-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit on Cranford Lane, Hounslow, on Thursday.

He was rushed to a central London hospital after the accident, where he remains.

His family and friends have been informed and detectives from the Met's road and transport policing command are investigating.

Scotland Yard have issued an appeal for information after the crash, which happened at around 6.15pm.
