SHOCKING footage shows a helicopter spin out of control and crashing into a lake in front of a group of horrified onlookers.
Miraculously, all four people on board were pulled alive from the mangled wreckage, reports Nine News.
A video clip, reportedly filmed by a female passenger, shows the terrifying moment the aircraft plunges into the lake from low altitude in Capitolio in south west Brazil.
Footage from the beach shows a crowd of people cheering as the helicopter takes off.
But as the aircraft, reportedly belonging to company Wsfly tours, circles the lake it is pictured losing control and quickly plunging into the shallow water below.
The onlookers are pictured screaming before rushing towards the crash site.
All three tourists on board and the pilot survived the crash despite the helicopter being destroyed, reports Nine News
Authorities have reportedly confirmed that the accident was caused by a tailwind which stopped the pilot from gaining altitude.
