Richard Keys’ wife slams ‘liar’ presenter after pictures emerge of him with daughter’s pal he claimed to have dumped

THE wife of TV host Richard Keys blasted the cheat after pictures emerged of him with a young lover he claimed to have dumped.
Furious Julia Keys, 57, branded him a “liar” and told The Sun on Sunday: “This is not his first affair.”
It came after ex-Sky Sports anchor Keys, 59, and Lucie Rose, 28 — a pal of his actress daughter Jemma — were seen strolling near a £400-a-night hotel where he was staying.
Keys publicly denied their affair last October and Julia made a statement to back him a day after blasting his antics.
He took up a £420,000-a-year tax-free sports TV presenting job in Qatar and flew into London on Tuesday.
Keys, axed by Sky for sexist remarks about a female linesman, went to the five-star Hyatt Regency Churchill in central London. Lucie joined him in his room and they ate at the hotel’s The Montagu restaurant where a meal for two costs around £200.
Lawyer Lucie left for work but returned in the evening.
Julia, who has filed for divorce, says she was “stunned” by photos of the pair.

She said: “I spoke to him after I’d seen the pictures and said, ‘if there ever had been a chance of reconciling our marriage, after what I’ve just been shown you’ve blown it forever’.
“Lucie made a play for him and he’s a man of a certain age — almost 60 — and he is completely flattered by it all.
“He’s continued the affair and been unable to let her go even though I stood by him at first.
“He’s constantly denied it and bullied me into making a public statement last year saying the affair did not take place.
“He even rang me a couple of days ago to say he ‘hadn’t seen her, didn’t want to be with her and had no feelings for her’.
“I wanted him to prove he wanted his marriage, instead he did the complete opposite.”
Psychotherapist Julia, of Ascot, Berks, added: “I’ve very strong reasons to suspect his affair with Lucie is not the first.
“Lucie is the first affair I’ve categorically caught him out on but I’ve had reason to believe other things have gone on.”
Julia, who has battled thyroid cancer, said their son Josh, 27, had also “finished with” Keys.
She said: “He said, ‘don’t hurt mum or make her any more ill’, but as time has gone on Josh has felt enough is enough.”
Julia also condemned Lucie, who met Keys while working for Qatar Investment Authority.
She said Lucie, who was friends with former Hollyoaks star Jemma, 31, used to text her during the fling with Richard.
Julia said: “It was complete dishonesty from both and if this is what Richard wants I wish him well, but I want a divorce.”
Richard and psychotherapist Julia have been married 34 years.
But she added that he had "completely run out of chances" this time, and would continue with divorce proceedings.
Keys was unavailable for comment.
