RISHI Sunak has slammed pro-Palestine protesters for surrounding the home of Sir Keir Starmer as three were charged.

The Prime Minister said no MP should be "harassed at their own home" after young activists linked to Just Stop Oil staged a demonstration outside the Labour leader's residence in North London.

Scotland Yard said that politicians and their families should be "able to go about their daily lives without feeling threatened or intimidated".

Two women and a man were arrested and have been charged with public order offences.

Leonorah Ward, 21, Zosia Lewis, 23, and Daniel Formentin, 24, will appear before Westminster Magistrates' Court on April 10.

Supporters of Youth Demand, which describes itself as a "youth resistance campaign fighting for an end to genocide", want Sir Keir to call for a two-way arms embargo in light of the conflict in Gaza.

The group filmed themselves putting up a banner which read "Starmer stop the killing" and placing several children's shoes all the way up to his front door.

The tactic has been seen at a number of pro-Palestine protests to signify children killed in Gaza.

Writing on X, Mr Sunak said: "I don't care what your politics are, no MP should be harassed at their own home.

"We cannot and will not tolerate this."

Home Secretary James Cleverly also posted to X, saying: ";This is unacceptable.

"There is no excuse for harassing and intimidating politicians and their families in their homes."

Deputy Assistant Commissioner Ade Adelekan, who is responsible for policing across London today, said: "Politicians and their families should be able to go about their daily lives without feeling threatened or intimidated.

"It's completely unacceptable for protest to take place in the vicinity of a politician's home.

"There are plenty of appropriate places to protest in London, anyone who chooses to target a private home can expect to be dealt with by officers.

"In line with that approach officers have made three arrests today under section 42 of the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001.

"This power stops the harassment of a person at their home address if an officer suspects it is causing alarm or distress to the occupant."

Youth Demand was also responsible for spraying Labour's headquarters with red paint earlier this week, which resulted in 12 arrests on suspicion of criminal damage.
