Strike hell will only flourish with Keir
THE runaway union gravy train shows no sign of slowing, even as the latest rail strike cripples transport for millions.
Common Sense Minister Esther McVey is right to slam town halls for wasting eye-popping sums on full-time staff who work exclusively on union business.
Predictably wasteful is Birmingham City Council, which has declared itself bankrupt, hiked council tax by 21 per cent and axed weekly bin collections.
This Labour-run basket case has blown £1.8million of public cash on just 42 of its employees so they can do the bidding of union bosses in work time.
The figures racked up under spendthrift London mayor Sadiq Khan are even worse.
His Transport for London has squandered £8million on 881 full-time union workers while Londoners’ council tax is soaring.

We can’t even say that these staggering sums of taxpayers’ money have been helpful in stopping strikes.
A separate analysis claims Mr Khan’s record of overseeing 139 days of industrial action on TfL since 2016 have cost the capital up to £12billion.
The chilling fact is that such activism is only going to spread its tentacles under a trade union-funded Labour Government.
Both train drivers and junior doctors are happy to drag out their greedy strikes in the expectation that a victorious Sir Keir will cram their pockets with gold.

And union power will only proliferate in Mr Khan’s London if he wins another term at next month’s local elections.
Voters will face the consequences if they fail to kick him out on May 2.

Wads up Doc!
THE NHS may be on its knees, but GPs seem to be enjoying robust financial health.
Astonishing figures from the Taxpayers’ Alliance show that at least one GP trousered more than £1million between 2020 and 2021, six times the PM’s salary.
Several have racked up total pensionable pay of £800k to £900k, while thousands have taken home more than £150k.
While many hard-working GPs deserve their rewards, some of these bumper pay packets are shocking.
If you can’t get an appointment, it could be because your doctor is too busy counting their cash.
Lock up boat beasts
ONLY 89 traffickers were charged with piloting migrant boats last year.

That’s despite the fact that more than 29,000 desperate migrants risked their lives making the crossing.
Unless the ring leaders are locked up, we will never stop the boats.
