Family and friends have left hundreds of tributes after hearing of the beauty queen’s passing.

Jade, from Bathgate, West Lothian, was described as “the purest of souls” by her heartbroken family who have set up a Just Giving page to help with funeral costs.

The family’s poignant message reads: “On Saturday 30th March 2024 our family was shattered with the heartbreaking news of Jade’s sudden passing.

“Jade had the purest of souls, she loved deeply and was loved immeasurably.

“Her infectious laugh and big beautiful smile that would light up any room, a beautiful, beautiful girl.

“Jade left an imprint on everyone’s hearts the moment she would walk in to their life.

"Jade was full of fun, laughter, courage, mischief, with a great and witty sense of humour and always up for doing something adventurous.

“As a family we thought it would be special to create this platform to allow Jade’s friends, family and anyone who has had the privilege of crossing paths with Jade to share your memories and love for Jade.

“This will give us great comfort knowing even more so, how loved she was.

"If you feel you would like to leave a donation, please feel free , we will be very grateful .

“We will ensure this goes towards giving our beautiful Jade, the best send off that she deserves.”

The family set a fundraising target of £800 which has already been passed with generous family and friends already contributing.

Touching tributes to Jade have also been left on the fundraising page with one former workmate describing Jade as “a truly amazing girl and was always such a pleasure to be around”.

A second said: “Always in my heart. You’ll be deeply missed by all who knew and loved you.

"My flatmate, friend and wee sister from another mister, it was a joy to have you in my life. I hope you knew how loved you were.”

And a third added: “Jade was going through a difficult time in her life when our paths crossed.

“Even still, that big smile and big heart were always on show. The world has lost it's shine today.”

Jade landed the prestigious Miss Galaxy Scotland crown after previously winning the Miss Galaxy West Lothian title in 2012.

At the time she was signed with the Erin Gavin model agency and during the pageant contest she also won categories including best swimwear, best smile, best fashion, best evening wear and best interview.

Following her win Jade flew to Orlando later that year to compete in Miss Galaxy where she wowed the judges and scooped a top ten place in the competition.

Jade ran her own teeth whitening company and in the past worked as a support worker providing care for adults with mental and physical disabilities.
