McDonald’s is giving away 10,000 bottles of their famous Big Mac sauce
MCDONALD’S has announced it is giving away thousands of bottles of its special Big Mac burger sauce as part of a special promotion.
The fast food outlet told shocked customers it would be distributing bottles of the coveted condiment directly to them.
And what’s more, McDonald’s will not be charging customers a penny.
The chain is handing out a total of 10,000 bottles tomorrow as part of a drive to promote the launch of two new burgers.
The limited edition Grand Mac and the Mac Jnr – smaller and larger versions of the Big Mac – are being released this week.
But the bad news for special sauce fans in the UK is the free bottles are only available at selected US branches.
The Sun Online has contacted McDonald’s to ask if it has any plans to extend the offer to the UK in the future.
The sauce cannot usually be bought on its own and is only available as part of meals at branches of the restaurant.
The first bottle of it ever to be sold to the public went for a massive £12,000 on eBay.
And the only bottle of the sauce ever to go on sale in the UK was snapped up for an even bigger £69,500 last year.
The burger chain put the 740ml bottle on sale to raise money for its Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) which provides free accommodation for families when their kids are in hospital.
