Shocking moment brown sludge pours from bathroom tap in luxury Manchester Hilton Hotel – just moments after guest finished brushing his teeth

A DISGUSTED businessman filmed the shocking moment brown sludge poured from the bathroom tap of his luxury hotel room in Manchester - moments after he had finished brushing his teeth.
Wilson Chowdhry, 43, noticed the water started going an unusual colour as he was about to wash his face and quickly began videoing the dark liquid streaming from the faucet.
He initially started filming the water streaming out of the shower head at the four star Hilton hotel in Deansgate, Manchester - where he was staying while visiting the city from his home in London.
Mr Chowdhry can be heard in the footage saying: "What is this?
"I had a shower in this last night.
"I am paying £136 a night for this.
"That is totally disgraceful.
"Literally, I've never seen anything like it."
He then turns to the sink where the brown liquid can be seen filling the bowl.
Mr Chowdhry continues: “You won’t believe this, this is water. Coming out of a tap at the Hilton hotel. This is the Hilton Hotel, Deansgate, Manchester.
"I had literally just brushed my teeth. It’s very worrying. I’m shocked by the hotel’s attitude, if I was a child they would have rushed me to hospital.
"I’ve stayed at that Hilton before, it’s normally OK.
"I don’t think they realise how traumatic it is to have that happen."
He was offered a full refund by the hotel but claims he has been left feeling ill since and claims he wasn't warned about the maintenance work.
A spokesman for Hilton Manchester Deansgate told the newspaper: “Following essential maintenance work on Sunday evening on the building of the hotel, we received a complaint from a guest and have launched an investigation into the matter.
"Management informed hotel guests of the maintenance at the time and we regret any inconvenience caused.”
