Amir Khan’s younger brother reveals ‘bitter disappointment’ after boxing champion snubbed his wedding following vicious family feud
AMIR Khan's younger brother has told of his "bitter disappointment" after the boxer snubbed his wedding.
Haroon Khan, 25, even claimed that Amir "didn't even send a message of congratulations" when he married Arifia in Bolton on Saturday, with the family appearing to still be locked in an on-going spat with the boxer's wife Faryal Makhdoom.
Amir is currently training in San Francisco for his upcoming fight amid a sex tape scandal, in which both her and his wife Faryal claimed on This Morning yesterday that it was leaked by "someone close" to them.
Speaking to the Haroon said: "It's a pity he couldn't be there and he didn't even send me a message of congratulations. [I'm] bitterly disappointed but I'll get over it. He should have done and it's very upsetting.
"We've always got on really well and you so want your brother at your wedding. But I'm not going to give him a hard time because family stuff has been tough and he's busy training in America. He knows I've always got his back and I'll always be looking out for him whatever happens.

"He's blood, and that means so much, we both have responsibility and care for each other. And I'm not going to upset him because he's bigger and stronger than me. But I'm the good looking one!"
However despite the warm words for his brother, Haroon did snipe at Faryal.
He said that the family are "saddened by what his Faryal has been saying but we tried to forget about the negatives at the weekend", and added that she "is a one off and lives by her own set of rules."
Since the sex tape footage of Amir was posted online, Faryal has been on a social media offensive, sharing Snapchats with fans of their family life.
And yesterday the couple appeared on This Morning together, vowing to stand by one another through turbulent times - and both insisted the tape was made BEFORE they married.
Khan, speaking alongside his wife in San Francisco, said: "I love my wife, and I love my family. The marriage is brilliant, it's going really well.
"Everything is fine between with us."
When asked about the sex tape, Khan said: "It is something that happened a long long time ago. This was well before my marriage.
"It's come out now. It's trying to put me down."
Khan said that he regretted the video leaking out because he is a role model for children and that the negative stories around his personal life are undermining his charity work.
Faryal added: "All those divorce rumours and what is being said in the media is not true. [We] just want to show that our marriage is fine and we are doing quite well."
She said: "It's just the past that's coming back to try and bring us down.
"But our focus is now the next fight."
However, while the couple used the appearance on the ITV chat show to discuss the strength of their marriage, Faryal also speculated that someone "close" to them could have leaked the sex tape amid a long-running spat between her and Khan's family.
She said: "I feel like someone’s done it out of revenge. It's not necessarily a family member, we were not together when this happened.
"Amir has fired a lot of people who worked from the company so it could be a worker."
It was initially claimed that the sex tape was made just weeks after their wedding in 2013, but Khan denies this.
The woman in the footage is believed to have been from Arizona, in the USA, and first had a fling with Amir in 2010.
