He screamed at her telling her: “Get out of my f***** face' and 'you're full of s***' as she tried to question him.”
Reid is right-wing and says she went to the left-wing event to report on it and interview protesters.
She told MailOnline that she approached Bews because he was heckling a group of counter protesters singing the national anthem.
The counter protesters were asking why marchers felt so angry about an American election and president.
But when Reid attempted to ask Bews why he was protesting about the election result, he replied “Ezra Levant, f*** you.”
She then said: “'I'm just trying to ask you a question, do I seem unreasonable to you?”
Bews replies: “Yes you seem unreasonable. You're full of s***.”
Another Rebel Media journalist added: “We're just trying to have a conversation here.”
But Bews stands with his back to them.
After a few seconds, he turned around and shouts: “Go away. Get out of my f****** face. I will break your camera.
“You do not have the right to film.”
He then punches the camera, adding: “You don't have the right to film everywhere you go.”
Tiana Barnes, who watched the incident, was then filmed telling the journalist to 'calm down'.
Bews was unavailable for comment.
