Sick ISIS jihadis release ‘teaser trailer’ showing extremists in Mosul dropping bombs from DRONES and carrying out suicide bombings
ISIS has apparently revealed its latest weaponry - a chilling bomb-dropping drone - in a sick propaganda 'teaser trailer' released online today.
In the 45 second promo video, reportedly shot in the Iraqi city of Mosul, the brutal terror group claim to be using the attack drones against US-backed Iraqi forces for the first time.
The footage features huge explosions as one of the unmanned devices seemingly drops two unidentified bombs from the air, completely wiping out the surrounding troops on the ground.
The drone is thought to be a replica of the MQ-9 'predator' aircraft, which is reportedly the largest and most powerful drone used by American forces.
Although footage has previously been shot by ISIS militants using drones, it's thought that this would be the first time the aerial vehicles have been used to attack.
In other scenes, extremists can be seen apparently launching grenades and using suicide bombs as they battle with the local Iraqi forces on the ground.
A full video is expected to be follow the trailer, which was unveiled on ISIS terrorist channels at 13.00 GMT today, as the extremist group typically release films just hours after their promotional clips.
It's thought that the latest propaganda video is an attempt at boosting its members' morale following reports that the Iraqi forces have succeeding in retaking the eastern-half of Mosul after three months of fighting.
It comes just hours after the group's leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was reportedly "critically injured" in an air strike from the US-led coalition in Al-Ba'aj, one of the few remaining large ISIS strong-holds in Iraq.
Iraq-born al-Baghdadi sleeps underground in a suicide vest and is reportedly becoming increasingly paranoid, ordering executions whilst under attack from Iraqi and Peshmerga troops.
