The incredible shot was fired from more than a mile away

AN SAS sniper killed three ISIS terrorists with a single bullet just as they were about to open fire on a crowd of women and children.

Reports reveal the Brit marksman fired the astonishing ‘one in a million’ shot during a secret mission in a remote village in Iraq.

His shot, which was fired using a L115A sniper rifle, killed two of the men instantly before bouncing off a nearby wall and hitting the other jihadi in the neck.

The incredible shot was fired from just over a mile away as the three killers prepared to fire into a crowd of women and children they had told to halt, said.

The SAS squad are said to have been tracking the ISIS unit and spotted them aiming a machine gun at the crowd from a nearby building.

Once the elite marksman realised what they were about to do he opened fire.

His bullet struck the first man, holding the gun, in the head before then striking the second in the chest.

The bullet then ricocheted off the wall and struck the third fighter in the neck.

The first two were killed instantly and the third died around 30 seconds later.

"The whole incident was over in a flash," a source told the Daily Star Sunday . "No one could quite believe what had happened."

Special forces had been been monitoring ISIS-controlled areas as Iraqi troops advanced towards the occupied city of Mosul.

The squad was following the movement of senior members of ISIS inside the village when dozens of women and children attempted to flee.

Last year we told how another SAS sniper had successfully scored his 100th kill after blasting an ISIS chief during the battle of Mosul.

The soldier, a veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, killed the 'high value' target during the fierce fight for the ISIS stronghold.

He was struck by a single bullet which punched through his armour killing him instantly.
