Disgusting moment huge plague of RATS scurry out from under bins and fight over box of Chinese food
A DISGUSTING video shot in London shows a small army of RATS fighting over Chinese takeaway scraps.
The clip was shot on New Road in Whitechapel, East London, and shows dozens of the rodents scurrying across the street.
Shot on Saturday March 16, the video starts by showing just a few rats trying to get their claws into a littered old Chinese takeaway left to rot on the ground.
However, when the camera zooms out and pans over to the dumpsters it reveals dozens more of the creatures running riot on the capital city's street.
The huge group of rodents scavenge and forage around in the litter and mess dumped around the bins, totally unbothered by the noise and presence of the humans around them.
Disgusted by the carpet of rats nearby, a passing local can be heard saying: "What the f**k, what the f**k."

But the visibly unafraid rodents continue to pour out of hiding and swarm the pavement, with one of the animals appearing to venture across the road before darting back as a motorbike passes.
The video comes to an end just as a couple of cars pass and scare the rats back into hiding.
The footage was shared to social media with the caption: “Rats spotted in Whitechapel this evening during Iftar time. On your watch.”
The shocking clip has since received over 470 likes and more than 300 comments from users left stunned by the number of rodents.
One user said: “Didn't expect anything different, not the London I grew up in.”
Another added: “Panic not, it's just the mayor and his followers out playing.”
A third wrote: “There are rats everywhere, take a walk in the early morning hours before everything opens, especially in the city centre, you will see them.”
And a fourth said: “If people picked up their litter and didn't make a mess, there wouldn't be so many rats. It's not hard to understand.”
2023's WORST RAT INFESTED AREAS IN THE UK
Last year pest control experts revealed the worst areas in the UK for super rat invasions - are you living where rats run wild?
- City and County of Swansea
- Southwark Council
- Birmingham City Council
- Liverpol City Council
- City of Glasgow
- Sunderland City Council
- Wigan Metropolitan Borough
- North Lanarkshire Council
- London Borough of Lambeth
- Nottingham City Council
This comes as rats were reportedly invading homes across the UK after a perfect storm of bin delays and flooding.
The UK's estimated 200 million rats are legging it into households, while pest exterminators are being swamped with SOS calls.
Elsewhere, Brits were issued an urgent warning over a "deadly" error many make when handling rat infestations.
Experts have put the growing rodent population down to our unhealthy diet of calorie-laden fast food with the rats feasting on the leftovers.

And finally, a UK street was declared a no-go area for refuse collectors because of "the size of chihuahuas".
Union bosses have ordered refuse removal teams not to enter the area - after they were overrun by the size of small dogs.
