Amir Khan and wife Faryal Makhdoom ‘missed chance to end family rift’ by skipping his brother’s 1,000-guest wedding for training

BOXER Amir Khan missed a chance to heal a family feud yesterday when he did not attend his brother’s wedding.

The ex-world champion’s brother Haroon married Arifa in front of 1,000 guests in Bolton.

But Amir, 30, was in San Francisco preparing for his next fight.

Amir and Haroon, 25, have had a frosty relationship after Amir’s wife Faryal accused their ­sisters of bullying her.

Faryal, 25, claims Amir’s family turned on her after she refused to dress as they demanded.

Amir has told Faryal and his family they would lose a “husband and a son” if the feud did not end.
