Tyrant Kim Jong-un sets sights on nuking PEARL HARBOUR because that’s as far as his missiles will go
The historic naval base will soon be in range of the rogue's state new nuclear missiles
TRIGGER-happy despot Kim Jong-un has set his sights on nuking PEARL HARBOUR according to a 'map of death' glimpsed in a North Korean war room.
A leaked photograph is said to show a map with four key US assets in the crosshairs of an attack...including the legendary Naval base targeted by the Japanese in 1941.
However, of the sites pinpointed on the military map only Pearl Harbour is a genuine target as the others are, at the moment, beyond the reach of North Korea's military might.
But the communist enclave is now close to developing a nuclear ICBM capable of travelling 5,000 miles and Pearl Harbour in Hawaii is just 4,600 miles away from Kim's kingdom.
The base is a lagoon on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, west of Honolulu. It has 1.4m local residents and is the headquarters of the United States Pacific Fleet and a navy museum.
Now it is feared previous estimates vastly underestimated the length of time it would take Pyongyang to successfully develop the bomb.
Leading experts have recently admitted nukes are Jong-Un's "ticket to survival" and disarmament through diplomatic channels is a "lost cause".
According to , his Musudan missiles - with a range of 3,500 miles - will be ready within a year.
If true, the North Korean madman would be able to strike the US air and naval bases in Guam, and any location in the South and Japan, as well as swathes of South East Asia.
Analysts wrote that the tests were continuing to fail, but his method of trial and error would mean operational nukes would be developed sooner than previously expected.
"At this rate, the Musudan intermediate-range ballistic missile could enter operational service sometime next year - much sooner than had previously been expected.
"After a decade of keeping it on the back burner, the North Koreans are clearly committed to the Musudan.
"Another seven months of training and practice could bring them to a real initial operational capability."
The analysis is likely to strike fear into South Korea and Japan - two US allies in the region who are desperate to stop Jong-un developing the bomb.
The US has announced it will deploy its state-of-the-art THAAD advanced missile defense system in South Korea in eight to 10 months.
Despite objections from Russia and China, the two countries agreed to deploy it in the South in response to the North's tests.
