How the world’s newspapers reacted to Donald Trump being sworn in as president
Publications across the globe reacted in very different ways to the new leader of the free world taking office
THE world's media has reacted to Donald Trump's inauguration with a swathe of punchy front page designs.
Most newspapers across the globe declared either love or loathing for the billionaire as he was sworn in yesterday.
Many newspaper front pages cited his "only America first" policy which featured heavily in his speech.
Others referred to the violence which was seen on the streets of Washington as demonstrators turned violent.
The New York Daily News was one which used the word "Inaugurage."

German paper Der Spiegel had the phrase "Die Neue Weltordnung" which means: 'The new world order."
It then featured flags of countries around the world and a picture of Vladimir Putin on pool balls, with American being queued up to hit them.
Italian paper Il Manifesto also went for 'Il nuovo mondo' or the new world.
The New Zealand Herald tweeted a photo of Donald Trump punching the air on an almost black background. It carried the headline: "Hello Mr President."
Back in the UK, where the front pages are also dominated by Trump, The Times printed a special wrap which featured Trump saluting the crowd at the ceremony.
It carried the headline: "In God We Trust."
The Sun had a photo of Trump signing paperwork after he was sworn in, with one of his grand children sticking their tongue out. It carried the headline "Commander in Mischief" along with an exclusive on Olympic swimmer Tom Daley.
The Independent's digital page went for a more sombre take with the headline "So help us God."
The Guardian went for the Trump's speech soundbite: "From this moment it's going to be only America first."
