Playful pandas can’t bear the wait as they pose for pictures in run-up to Chinese New Year

Cute cubs, from Chengdu city in Sichuan, south west China, give their devoted keepers paws for thought as they try to stop photoshoot descending into pandemonium

The twenty three cubs were all born in Chengdu city in Sichuan, south west China.
They put on a delightful display with their devoted keepers in order to celebrate the lunar Chinese New Year.

According to Wu Kongju, head of Chengdu Research Base, the panda cubs were born between May and August last year and the heaviest is 12 kilograms.
He said: “They are all in very good healthy condition.”
