Bizarre moment anguished protester screams ‘no’ at the top of her lungs just as Donald Trump is sworn in
Many voiced their opposition to the new president today, but none did so quite as loudly as this woman
Donald Trump's inauguration has sparked controversy around the world, with many taking to the streets to voice their opposition to the new president.
But perhaps none voiced it quite as loudly as this protester, who was caught on camera screaming "no" at the top of her voice just as the 70-year-old was sworn into office.
The footage was captured by ITV News and has since gone viral, with countless people sharing it on social media and Reddit.
In the clip, the depressed demonstrator — later identified as Jessica Starr — can be seen sitting on the ground silently, with her legs crossed, as Trump prepares to take the oath of office.
Just as it’s announced over the loudspeakers that “Donald J. Trump is the president of the United States,” she snaps — letting out a loud, visceral scream for all to hear.
In a later interview with ITV, Starr said: “I’m so sorry, I love people, this is not America, this is not what we want.
“There’s no way to even comprehend what this means.
