PRESIDENT Joe Biden and Donald Trump are officially set to face off in November now that both 2024 hopefuls have secured enough delegates for their respective party's nominations.
The rematch is all but certain after each candidate won their primaries in Georgia, Mississippi, and Washington on Tuesday night.
Biden surpassed the 1,968 delegates needed for his nomination by winning in Georgia and he was named the victor in the and Washington Democratic primaries hours later.
He was awarded 2,107 delegates while Trump passed his goal of 1,215, earning 1,228 before Hawaii's results were in.
As both Biden, 81, and Trump, 77, clinched their nominations, the new GOP candidate remained relatively unbothered, instead posting fiery updates about the Hur report, which delved into Biden's conduct surrounding classified document storage and use.
In early February, special counsel Robert Hur announced that Biden would not face criminal charges after he “willfully retained and disclosed classified materials” from his time as Barack Obama’s vice president.
"The Hur Report was revealed today! A disaster for Biden, a two-tiered standard of justice" Trump wrote on on Tuesday night after largely ignoring the day's primaries.
In testimony on Tuesday, Hur made it clear that the decision against charging Biden was not an exoneration.
“I did not exonerate him. That word does not appear in the report,” Hur said.
Trump has long been preparing to face Biden as his adversary come November, noting as much ahead of Tuesday's primaries on CNBC.

“I assume he’s going to be the candidate,” Trump said of Biden.
“I’m his only opponent other than life, life itself.”
As he entered the primaries in Mississippi, Washington, and Georgia, Biden battled a growing movement from voters fed up with his handling of the Israel-Palenstine conflict.
“If you really want our votes, if you want to win this election, you’re going to have to show a little bit more either support of Palestinian liberation — that’s something that’s very important to us — and ceasing funds to Israel,” said Bella Rivera, a preschool teacher who spoke to AP.
In January, over 100,000 votes went to the uncommitted choice on the ballot, which cost Biden two delegates.
BIDEN'S CELEBRATION
Following his victory in Georgia, Biden posted a fiery celebratory video to X, formerly Twitter.
The was captioned, "Democratic Party Nominee."
"Clinched the nomination," appeared over the video in large script before the president's voice began narrating.
"This is a time of choosing. So let us choose the truth. Let us choose America," he began.
"Today is the day to call to action, with your voice, with your power, with your vote."
The presumptive nominee went on to call voters to action, leaning into the idea of power in numbers, and asking his constituency to show up at the polls.
"Are you ready?" he asked.
"Are you ready to defend democracy?"
Biden's victory video is in line with the campaign he has run thus far which targets Trump as an enemy of democracy.
In a statement released by Biden's team on Tuesday night, the president said, "The threat Trump poses is greater than ever.
"Donald Trump is running a campaign of resentment, revenge, and retribution that threatens the very idea of America.
"He is glorifying dictators and pledging to become one himself on day one."
Trump, meanwhile, is facing charges in Georgia over his alleged efforts to and overturn Biden’s victory in the state.
He faces 91 felony counts in four criminal cases as he heads toward the 2024 presidential race.
While Biden secured his nomination early with Georgia's primary, Trump remained just shy of enough delegates for the GOP nomination following the state's results, having missed the 50% threshold needed to clinch it.
Later Tuesday night, Trump secured a win in the GOP Mississippi and Washington primaries, as called by AP, with Washington solidifying his 2024 presidential candidacy.
It has also been confirmed that Trump won the Republican presidential caucuses in Hawaii.
With 95% of the votes in, the race was after Trump won 97% of the vote.
Nikki Haley trailed behind with 1.6% of the votes while Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy each got less than 0.7%.
