Cops hunt for 20-year-old woman who went missing from her home four days ago as Facebook message claims to be from her
Police are appealing for information after Jennifer Hillier was last seen on Monday at about 5.30pm
POLICE are still looking for a missing woman despite receiving a Facebook message claiming to be the 20-year-old four days after she vanished.
Jennifer Hillier was last seen at her home in Hexham, Northumberland, on Monday at 5.30pm.
Police are concerned for her welfare and are carrying out enquiries to locate her.
But a woman claiming to be Jennifer comment on a Facebook appeal earlier today saying she is "ok".
The comment said: "I have text the officer that rang me and I am OK.
"I go away all the time. Everyone please stop worrying, I have also spoken with my mum all week.
"Thank you everyone for your concerns but I can assure everyone I am OK."
But police enquiries are still ongoing and the 20-year-old is reportedly still missing.
