THE white van man blocked into by an 'irate' woman motorist who parked MILLIMETRES behind his vehicle has told how he was FINALLY able to escape.

Gary Marston filmed the bizarre argument after he found the car had blocked him in - with the female motorist unwilling to move it.

Floor layer Gary posted footage of the argument, during which the car owner repeatedly tells the van driver to "call the police", to Facebook.

Today he told Sun Online: "I was working next door to where this lady lived.

“My workmate Jack Tomlin told me that someone had just hit the back of my van.

“When I went outside I saw how the car had been left. But it was only a parking bump and I really wasn’t that worried about damage – I just wanted to get to my next job. I would have just driven away but there was a lamppost in front of me.

“The woman was a bit irate already. I started off really calm. She said she was going to call the police so I started to film. She was very confrontational all the way through.

“I did offer to move it for her – I even offered to push it but she said no."

Gary thinks the woman had struggled with the gears on her car - which landed her millimetres from his van.

The video shows Gary get increasingly exasperated as he explains he's blocked into the spot before exclaiming "am I in the twilight zone".

He added: "She called somebody on the phone – I thought the police – but then this man appeared. I assume he was her boyfriend. He moved it for her – although to be honest he was not a very good driver either. He was just as bad.

“It was just unreal. Very surreal. All the neighbours came out. It was like a comedy show.

“I think she had struggled with clutch control trying to reverse. I think she lost it and rolled into my van.

“It was definitely a talking point for the rest of the day.

“I put it on Facebook and my colleague shared and it just went from there. I am normally a private person so I couldn’t believe it when I saw the viewing figures just going up and up. It was overwhelming.

“I’ve had my 15 minutes – I don’t want anymore.”

In the video Gary can be heard telling the woman: "Get your car off my van, that's your car it's on my van."

To which the woman responds: ";Just call the police."

At one point it seems the woman is going to move the car but instead she appears to take items out and walk away

The man, clearly growing inpatient says: "You're not moving your car, even though it's touching my van.

"There's a lamppost in front of me."

The car driver opens the driver's door, but rather than reversing the vehicle which is parked horizontally across the pavement, she takes out some possessions and goes to walk away.

The man says: "Am I in the twilight zone.

"You having a laugh.

"Just reverse your car I want to get out man."
