After shopper spots Heinz soup reduced by one penny in Sainsbury’s, another spots an even MORE bizarre offer
Shopper Joe Lazarus couldn't believe his eyes when he spotted the protein bar reduced from 70p... to 70p
A PRIMARK shopper was left baffled after spotting a snack bar advertised as reduced from 70p... to 70p.
Personal trainer and wrestler Joe Lazarus, from Crawley, West Sussex, was shopping in his Primark branch when he spotted Nakd snack bars on offer.
They were slapped with the reduction: "Was 70p, now 70p."
His bizarre spot comes after another shopper earlier this week discovered a 75p tin of Heinz tomato soup had been reduced to 74p.
Suzanne Taylor snapped a picture and posted the tongue-in-cheek reference on her Facebook page: "Everyone get down to my Sainsbury's local tout suite....just one example of the amazing bargains to be had."
Speaking to The Sun Online, Joe, 31, said he couldn't believe his eyes when he spotted the latest pricing blunder.
He said: "I was just doing a bit of browsing and on my way out of the Primark I spotted that the items were being sold at the counter.
"I thought it was hilarious so snapped a quick picture.
"After that I raised it with a few of the staff there, asking them if it was an error.
"They just found it hilarious too - but didn't seem too interested in removing the sign.
"I'm a body builder so I'm always looking for snack bars that give you a good amount of protein like they do, but I was hoping for a better reduction."
A spokesman for Primark said: "We apologise for the mislabelling of this product, which has since been rectified.
"However, we still think it’s a bargain at 70p!"
