The 18-year-old appeared at Bromley Magistrates' Court today while police attempt to track down a second suspect.
The court was told the black Piaggio scooter, which was holding two people, had made a U-turn after it spotted officers up ahead.
It then ploughed into a pedestrian on the pavement before crashing - causing the two men to flee on foot, it was said.
The court heard a shotgun was then dropped on the pavement and split in two - causing it to fire one round.
