Police want to trace two people spotted on CCTV the morning RAF missing man Corrie McKeague vanished
TWO people seen on CCTV around the time RAF gunner Corrie McKeague vanished have still not been traced, police said.
Three other potential witnesses have been identified following an appeal last week but officers still want help tracing he remaining pair.
Police say they want to speak to a cyclist seen talking to a driver and an older man wearing a blue hood who were in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, between 3.15am and 5.20am on September 24.
Officers trawled through hundreds of hours of CCTV as they tried to piece together the last known movements of dad-to-be Corrie, 23, from Fife.
He was separated from friends while leaving the Flex nightclub in the town and may have tried to walk the ten miles back to his base at RAF Honington.
Police said the vast majority of those in the area sought from CCTV have been identified, traced and spoken to.
Detective Superintendent Katie Elliott said: "Our extensive inquiries are ongoing with continuing CCTV analysis, searches and background work looking into all aspects of Corrie's life.
"As part of our ongoing work to find him, the police team have trawled through over 1,000 hours of CCTV footage to search for any images of Corrie but also to identify all of those who were in the vicinity around the time of the last confirmed sighting to see if there's anything they may be able to tell us that may help.
"It remains important that we identify everyone who was in the area of the 'horseshoe' in the early hours of Saturday September 24, as someone could, unknowingly, hold a clue that can help us find Corrie.

"It should be stressed that these are just potential witnesses and it's possible they may not be aware that they may be able to assist.
"We need to identify all those on the released images as we are trying to rule out all possibilities and therefore we do need to speak to you."
Last week, it was revealed Corrie's girlfriend April Oliver, 21, is expecting their child in late spring or early summer.
She said Corrie did not know about the pregnancy. The pair had been together for about five months after meeting on a dating site.
Corrie, a gunner and team medic, was last seen in Bury St Edmunds town centre on CCTV at 3.25am wearing a light pink Ralph Lauren shirt, white jeans and brown suede Timberland boots with light soles.
The last sighting shows him walking from a shop doorway and into a horseshoe-shaped area in Brentgovel Street, with no sign of him emerging.
Yesterday dogs trained to find dead bodies were brought in to search the town.
Corrie's uncle revealed last week private investigators using military software had been hired to help with the search using £50,000 of donations from the public.
Since Corrie's disappearance Suffolk Police has carried out "extensive" investigative work to find him, searching woodland, scouring hundreds of hours of CCTV and tracing dozens of people who may held clues.
But in November they admitted they have "no leads" despite trawling through 1,100 hours of CCTV footage.
Before Christmas Hollywood star Tom Hardy made a video appeal for help finding missing Corrie.
Nicola was also pictured combing through undergrowth with a team of volunteers as she refuses to give up the search.
