Mum, 42, arrested over deaths of baby & two other children is detained under the Mental Health Act
A WOMAN arrested over the deaths of her baby and two other young kids has been detained under the Mental Health Act.
Fares Bash, seven, Joury Bash, three, and nine-month-old Mohammed Bash were all found dead at their Bristol home last month.
A mum, 42, was taken into hospital after being arrested over the three murders with injuries that are described as not life-threatening.
She has now been detained under the Mental Health Act, Avon and Somerset Police said.
Forensic post-mortem examinations were carried out last week and revealed the three siblings died of knife injuries.
Chief Inspector Vicks Hayward-Melen said: "We know the public are still trying to come to terms with this awful tragedy.

"The community remains together and united in their grief over the heartbreaking deaths of Fares, Joury and Mohammed.
"We continue to be incredibly thankful for the support and kindness that has been shown by the people of Sea Mills and beyond.
"Everyone affected by this tragedy remains in our thoughts and we continue to provide specialist support to the children’s next of kin.
"We have promised throughout our investigation to provide updates and be transparent about any significant developments.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct has been informed as there was "prior police contact earlier this month".
A spokesperson said: "We have requested a paper referral with further information about the prior contact and once received, we will assess it to determine whether further action is required from us."
Heartbreaking video and photos emerged after the killings of Joury and Fares happily playing together.
In one poignant clip, seven-year-old Fares could be seen singing and playing a red ukulele.
He is then joined by his sister, Joury, who puts a pink fluffy hat on him and dances on the sofa.
