Family make desperate appeal to find missing dad-of-four after police find his car abandoned with phone inside

A DISTRAUGHT family have made a desperate appeal to find a missing dad-of-four whose car was found abandoned with his mobile phone inside.
Marcus Shaw, 43, was last seen at about 2pm on Saturday at an address in Warrington, Cheshire, and police say they are becoming "increasingly concerned for his welfare".
Friends and family, including his partner Joanne Lyne, have been sharing pictures of Mr Shaw on Facebook in a bid to trace him.
Ms Lyne posted a photograph of the pair together and wrote: "Love this man the mostest he's my best mate my world... if anyone has seen him please let me or his family know he is safe [sic]."
She later shared another message, saying: "My gorgeous man my best friend Marcus Shaw car found in Lymm please please if anyone has seen him."
Police say Mr Shaw is white, 6ft in height, of a stocky build, with short blonde hair, blue eyes and tattoos on both his arms.

He was wearing a Jack Wolfskin fleece over a blue top, black Adidas tracksuit bottoms and black Adidas trainers when he went missing.
Inspector Jez Taylor said: “It has now been nearly two days since Marcus was last seen, which is totally out of character, and we are becoming increasingly concerned about his welfare.
“We are currently following a number of lines of enquiry and information currently suggests that he may be in the Lymm area.
“I urge anyone who believes that they may have seen Marcus, or anyone matching his description, to contact us on 101.
“I’d also like to appeal directly to Marcus himself to make contact with us and let us know that he is safe and well."
Anyone who may have seen Marcus or have any information to help officers locate him is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 817 of 14 January 2017.
