When and how did Elvis die?
Elvis Presley died 41 years ago on 16 August 1977 at the age of 42, in the toilet of his Graceland home in Memphis, Tennessee.
George Nichopoulos, the Memphis doctor known as Dr Nick, was blamed by millions of fans for Presley’s untimely death because he dished out prescription drugs to the star.

Why do some theorists believe that Elvis is alive?
Some conspiracists have claimed that Elvis faked his own death in order to disappear and live anonymously.
They believe that a clue pointing to this is a black helicopter that landed in Graceland hours before his body was uncovered.
Theorists are adamant that the star was picked up and flown to Bermuda, where he lay low when he became tired of fame.

The Arkansas pastor is a talented musician and Elvis fan whose singing voice bears an uncanny resemblance to the King’s.
Among the stranger theories is that he appeared in 1990 cult film Home Alone.
A bearded man in the background of one scene bears a resemblance to the King.
