Beaconsfield ‘murder’: Woman in 40s found dead after suffering ‘serious injuries’ in posh town as man, 39, arrested
The suspect has been remanded in police custody
POLICE have launched a murder probe after the body of a woman was found by police.
Cops were called to Seeleys Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, at around 6.20am on Friday.
A woman in her 40s was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 39-year-old man from Beaconsfield was arrested and has been remanded in police custody.
Detective Inspector Nick Hind said he believed it was an isolated incident and has extended his thoughts to the victim's family and friends.
He said: "We are carrying out a thorough investigation into the circumstances of this incident."
The victim has not been named but specialist officers from Thames Valley Police have been supporting her family.
