While flashing the flesh might not be the original approach, it's certainly effective if you're an A-list star looking to plug a product or launch a campaign.
Just ask Beyonce, who barely covered her boobs as she posed in a risque see-through wire bodice this week for .
She used the sexy shoot to launch her new shampoo brand Cécred.
The singer, 42, has collaborated with her mum Tina, 70, who is a hairdresser and whose workplace inspired her daughter to become a singer.
Beyonce said: “It was in her salon that I realised my dreams of being a performer - inspired by one of her clients who happened to be an opera singer.”

Supermodel Kate, 50, is used to showing off her figure for the camera, so getting her kit off to advertise one seem natural.
In 2006, she posed totally starkers bar a Nikon camera to promote the new device.

Previously, she has explained that being nude was simply something she had to get used to as a model.
She told W magazine: “From the beginning, photographers always got me to take my clothes off, even though I don’t like my body at all. I just had to get comfortable with being naked.”
Kim Kardashian
Kim, 43, has one of the most famous figures of all time and she's not afraid to flash the flesh.
She opted to pose in just a nude pair of tights in 2021 to promote her shapewear brand SKIMS.
All she had protecting her modesty were her crossed legs and arms over a wicker backdrop.
The brand has been a huge success for the reality star, who is thought to have earned $600million from it.
Jennifer Aniston
When Friends star Jennifer stripped off to advertise water, it proved quite the thirst trap.

She told CR Fashion Book: “I drink a lot of water, move my body daily. Sometimes I think it’s imperative that we turn off the noise.”
Gigi Hadid
Model Gigi, 28, posed nude bar a pair of high heels for Versace's winter campaign back in 2016.
It came shortly after she had been crowned International Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards.
The stunning shoot was also the second time she stripped down to promote a brand - after posing naked months before for Stuart Weitzmann shoes.
Gwyneth Paltrow
One way to make sure people pay attention to your new jewellery is to wear nothing else.

Sharing the snaps on social media, she said: “My love for jewellery is well documented. I’m into layering various designers, but to do that well, you need a foundation that goes with everything.”
Gillian Anderson
There are many reasons to get naked, but Gillian, 55, opted to do it for a good cause.

The Sex Education actress posed wearing just a conger eel to cover her modesty.
She then stripped nude again to pose for PETA in their "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign.
Lady Gaga
Singer Lady Gaga, 37, is best known for her controversial clothing choices, rather than her lack of it.

The promotional pictures saw her modesty only protected by little figures, while she wore a mask.
She has since gone on to post for more risque shoots as her fame has grown.
